Easter Sunday - "Un dimanche à la campagne"
One of my favourite film...
The girls came up and I wanted to make a lush but healthy lunch so "Poulet à la Provencal" was in order.
This is such an easy chicken recipe and it soooooo good, low in carbs and won't break the bank.
I know it was Easter and everyone assume that we should have Lamb... Well if you have to feed 7 adults and 3 kids... Lamb is pushing it if you know what I mean :)
In the absence of a nice local farm open after hours (since not all of us are able to do lunch and go to the organic shop whilst the kids are out school... Next year Rodney!) I found my way to the local supermarket , Waitrose, I'll have you know, to buy my FREE RANGE chickens. I will have to insist on supporting only free range, and as much as I do heart my food... I also love my values.
Now if you want fancy a juicy mediterranean roast than you must read this post !!!
